Sunday’s (in the traditional Christian sense) are a day of worship and rest. Some spend all day worshipping with family and friends; others in Bible studies and special church programs; and still others mark it as a celebration of family. Either way, traditionally Sunday is the day of the week that people lend to rest and relaxation. This comes in many forms.
This Sunday was one of the most beautiful days I’ve experienced. Sunny, yet cool, no humidity, birds singing, though still quiet and peaceful. So I chose to spend my morning reflecting on God’s great work IN his great work, admiring His beauty and creation by being among it. Is this how I spend every Sunday? No. But spending a beautiful morning at the park watching the kids play while stretched out in the grass enjoying a good book, somehow felt right on this day.
